Silent telephone

 

There's a vast blue sea

Floating around me

And I'm all alone.

There's a deep blue sky

And the restless wind sighs

To the wail of the telephone.

I wake up from sleep

And begin to weep

Nobody's by my side.

Silence sinks all around

My hands and feet are bound

The music has died.

Tell me why did you go away?

When there was so much more to say.

By the silent telephone.

The yellow leaves on the trees

All silently weep

As they fall to the ground.

And pretty blue bird's

Song is no longer heard,

She's no longer around.

And as I look up above

I see the rainbow of love

Slowly fading away.

I look down at my feet

Listen to my heart beat

I've nothing more to say.

Tell me why did you steal my heart

Was it only to break it apart?
